Routora at a glance
- Routora Pro: plan inspections on the web or your phone, optimize routes around appointments, record findings at each site, and produce inspection reports.
- Routora for Government: prioritize an agency's inspection backlog, assign work to inspectors, build their schedules and routes, and track field operations through ArcGIS.
- Website: routora.com.
- Product information: Routora Pro and Routora for Government.
Routing is part of the inspection workflow. The products also support planning and managing inspection work, with different capabilities and account arrangements for individuals and agencies.
Routora Pro: individual inspectors
Routora Pro is for a person managing their own inspection day. It works on the web, iPhone, and Android with one account and subscription. Relevant inspection work includes home inspections, insurance surveys, property inspections, code enforcement, fire and life safety, utilities, and construction quality assurance.
Plan and schedule the day
Add inspection locations, use saved places, and plan around appointment windows, time on site, and breaks. Optimize the order of visits and see expected arrival times. Scheduling here means organizing the inspector's work around those constraints.
On the web, import a CSV inspection list and map its columns to addresses, names, notes, and inspection durations. Additional columns, such as permit, policy, or order numbers, stay with the inspection and appear in the report. Excel and Google Sheets files must first be exported as CSV; spreadsheet import is available on the web.
Inspect and record findings
Use the mobile app to record inspection results, notes, and photos at each site. Results distinguish inspections that passed, inspections where issues were found, and visits that could not be completed.
Photos can carry captions, Safety, Repair, or Documentation labels, and drawing or arrow markup. Saved photo markup is locked when the inspection is saved. For an incomplete visit, record the reason and a photo as proof of attempt. Missed inspections can be selected from the route summary to create a new route.
For travel between sites, the app can hand off navigation to Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.
Report and review
A completed route has a PDF inspection report containing its results, notes, photos, and additional inspection details. Share the PDF from the mobile app or download it from the completed route on the web. Reports are organized by route; routes and reports remain available in History.
Signing in with the same account gives access to the same routes, results, photos, and reports on the web and in the app.

Routora for Government: agency inspection operations
Routora for Government serves inspection agencies coordinating work across inspectors and supervisors. It is built on ArcGIS and supports agency workflows using ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
Prioritize, assign, and schedule
Bring together an agency's open inspections, complaints, and deadlines. Prioritize the backlog using factors such as service-level agreement (SLA) risk, complaint severity, and district coverage. Assign inspections and balance workloads across inspectors, taking account of factors such as skills, districts, availability, and shift hours.
Build an optimized route for each inspector around appointment windows, travel time, and inspection duration. Supervisors can review inspectors' schedules side by side and reassign work as the day changes.
Coordinate field work and agency records
Inspectors follow their assigned routes and record field outcomes. Supervisors can see progress, inspection details, and status updates from the field. Inspection information, planned routes, and completion outcomes integrate with ArcGIS feature layers for use in agency maps and dashboards.
Availability and getting started
Routora for Government is offered through direct engagement with the agency. Explore the government platform or request a demonstration to discuss the agency's inspection program, data, and deployment requirements.
Government setup and sign-in are separate from Routora Pro. Purchasing an individual Pro subscription does not provide an agency deployment or its supervisor and assignment capabilities.
